Strategic agenda – Improving our performance levels

In 2008, we devised a strategic agenda to map out the performance improvement plans which would enable us to achieve the “value” and “values” of our strategic ambitions (described on the previous two pages). During 2009, we stuck to this agenda (see above) and firmly believe it has helped to ensure that we are well positioned for the future. We measure the company’s progress against our strategic ambitions and agenda using a strategy dashboard which incorporates both leading and lagging indicators and a balance of financial and non-financial metrics.
